Kevin and I landed here in Costa Rica 6 months ago today. On the one hand, time has flown by, yet we've had a chance to fully enjoy every day. We've had the time to stop, smell and drink the coffee. We've also had time to stop to smell the flowers, dig up some dirt, blaze some trails, learn names of birds, go to school, teach English, take care of fish and chickens. It's been quite the journey so far. We set our sights on opening our B&B guesthouse by January and did. We've hosted some guests already, so we're off to the races. We're happy with our progress and hope our good fortune continues. We raise a glass to another 6 months and beyond, wherever the journey takes us!

Dave and Krista are a couple from the Pacific Northwest that led overwhelmingly busy lives.
As her son Hayden was graduating high school, and daughter Korynn wrapping up college, they realized it was time to slow down. Life was going far too fast . They wanted to take the time to enjoy stress free living with their eight year old son Quinn.
Having visited Hush Valley Lodge as guests in January of 2016, they decided this would be the exact change they needed.
In the pursuit of happiness, they partnered with Jo, Peter, Molly, Gary and Dan to make this dream a reality, and are currently the stewards of the magic that is Hush Valley Lodge.
