We lasted until 9:30 pm last night, watching 'Justified'. We slept well and woke up at 6:30 am. No school for me today. Another gorgeous morning — blue skies and hot sun. Kevin and I walked around the property, devising ideas of what to build to make the property even more enjoyable for guests. We have a lot of land that currently is not being used, yet there's so much potential. All these really nice nooks and crannies where, with a bit of vision, we could create something quite special... even more special than it already is. It's easy for me to visualize it, which always scares Kevin a little because it usually means work for him! :) We have a waterfall at the bottom of the property, near the river, that is obscured by bushes and trees and if we clean that area up, and build a platform where people can sit and enjoy both the river and the waterfall, it would be an awesome feature, we think. Not sure we'll be able to get to that project before we open in January. We have other more pressing things to take care of. We'll figure out what kind of budget we'll need and keep honing our ideas so that when we're ready, we have clear direction. Once guests stay at the property, their feedback will be invaluable to help us decide what is most important in providing the best experience. This is definitely a work in progress.
