![]() The kids and I decided we'd go to the little town of Providencia. I had heard that there was a festival this weekend and thought it might be fun. Providencia is known for its world-class bouldering and rock climbing. We invited our neighbour and friend, Nachoo (pronounced Nacho) to come with us. He hadn't been to Providencia in over 4 years so we seemed very happy to join us. It took us about and hour and a half up a winding dirt road, but the views were spectacular. Phoenix got out a few times to takes some pictures. When we got to Providencia, there was no sign of any festival. It was completely dead. We decided to drive to this waterfall and have a little picnic. Not too shabby. ![]() Phoenix, Jude and Nachoo decided to cross over to the other side of the river while I stayed behind, took pictures and relaxed. ![]() Then, of course, they looked for a way to get back... by wading through the very cold water. This is Nachoo doing his best to keep his balance on a very slippery rock. Crazy boy! ![]() Jude opted to stay dry and hopped on rocks. ![]() We all had a great day. Here are my two babies, who are no longer babies... hard to believe they're so grown up.
