Ellie, Roberto's mother, came by for a short visit. I gave her a tour of the property even though she's been here before since she was a friend of the previous owners. Then, just as Ellie was leaving, Adriana (her daughter-in-law) and Leidy were walking down the driveway. They came by to deliver the fresh butter in exchange for some eggs. I gave another tour and then we all (Paul, Kevin, Adriana, Leidy and I) sat down on the backyard terrace and shared a cool beverage. The sun was hot and the sky clear blue. Then later, Kevin and I went to the community school party... a get together for the parents and all the people who participate with the school. Another typical Tico event. Good day. It's Paul's last night with us. He leaves for home tomorrow morning. It's been great having him here and we'll miss him.
