A day of rest... even though it's only Friday

I woke up with another sore throat and a headache. I'm told it's the change in the seasons that brings this bit of nuisance. I decided to take it easy today. No painting. No gardening. No digging rocks to fill the winter garden containers. I took a bath, read some of my book, met with Adriana to discuss fundraising expenditures. She listed all the items that were paid for from the donation I presented the community last November. I will take some pictures and share soon. Then I came home, had a bit of lunch and feel asleep. It's not often that I nap, but the body wants what it wants... and needs. I'm learning to listen to it. Hopefully, tomorrow, I'll feel better and can start tackling the winter garden... my seedlings need to be transplanted soon.
