![]() Today, we took Mary and Karen up on one of our trails. We walked up slowly and enjoyed a nice chat. Then I drove to Copey with Mary to exchange some eggs for fresh-pressed apple juice. We stopped in at the Copey Learning Center and I introduced Mary to the volunteers and Seidy. In the meantime, Kevin took Karen up our mountain on the ATV to show her the views. Later, I attended a community meeting at the Rio Blanco school to discuss a fun day to fundraise money to finish the kitchen and other community requirements. We've decided to have a fishing day with games and Bingo (prizes will be won) and a guided tour of trails in the neighbourhood. There's lots of work to do, but I'm sure we'll figure it out.
