Another volunteer group

We received another volunteer group today for a tour of our property. It was raining lightly when they arrived. With our umbrellas in hand, we did our rounds. As we stopped near the hen house, Andrea spotted a male Quetzal... he flew right in front of us. Then we saw the female follow him. The volunteers were so happy. And so were we! Shortly after it started to pour. We were at the top of the property so we decided to take shelter in the hatchery (winter greenhouse) and huddle there until the rain subsided, but today it lasted over an hour. We chatted and explained our project, and waited for the rain to stop, but it didn't. Finally, we came back to the house to warm up. Kevin made a fire and we had fresh lemonade on hand. Everyone took turns to dry off in front of the open fire. No amount of rain could dampen this group's spirit. They're all pretty easy going.
