I toughed it out last night until 9:20 pm. Kevin fell asleep on the couch at 8pm, but I forced myself to stay awake, so I wrote a few emails in my drafts folder. I slept a bit better. I only woke up at 1:30 am and 4:30 am... and dozed on and off until 5:30 am. I started reading the Celestine Prophesy out loud to Kevin. I had read it before in the late 90s, as did Kevin, but he mentioned he'd like to read it again, so I'll be reading a bit each night. Kevin likes it when I read to him. It takes practice to read aloud, but I'm improving with practice. Reading about Peru seems closer to home, now. We're reading it with a new perspective. Neither of us has been to Peru, but we'd like to visit one day. It seems much more possible now that we're in Costa Rica. So many new possibilities.
