What a day! It's only 9 pm, but feels like midnight. Our little community of Rio Blanco organized a Bingo day with lots of food. Kevin and I had spent much of yesterday getting all the food prepared, but as organized as we were , there was still lots to do today. We set up the tables, then our station where we manned our section with Ceviche, Banana Bread and Smoothies. We were rocking and rolling. Martin was making pork chops in another corner and Clara and Paola were serving up some other traditional savory foods. There were about 60 people who showed up. It was a great success! Everyone had fun. Kevin won a kettle! The rain even held off for us. That was lucky! Hopefully, we will have raised enough money to pay for the labour required to finish the much needed renovations on the community centre. The committee will regroup and count all the money, so we'll see.
