Bus crash injures 16 students

A school bus transporting high school students from Santa Maria back home after school slid off the bridge in Copey and rolled half-way into the river. Apparently, the driver and 16 students were injured and emergency vehicles transported them to a Cartago hospital. The road was closed for several hours with the clean-up. Everyone was shocked because such accidents are unheard of in this area. We hope everyone heals quickly.
