Although it's been raining more than the dry season, it's been pretty moderate. And it has been raining mostly every day, but when it does, it doesn't last all that long. We've been told that normal rainy seasons can see several days of rain in a row, with no respite. We didn't see that last year... and this year doesn't appear to be much different. Today, however, we did experience a deluge! It poured, the river rose and all the canals were overflowing. It was pretty intense, but still, it didn't last very long. We'll wait and see what tomorrow brings.
