Can’t believe it’s May already. The days are long, but the months are short. I’ve had a headache the last few days. It’s dragging me down a bit. I decided to get my hair trimmed just for a bit of a lift. It was getting scraggly. And I spent a few hours of the morning talking with Jude’s guidance counselor. He told me that Jude has to be 17 before he can go into the military co-op program and requires 15 credits. And this co-op is provincial so it doesn’t matter which high school he goes to. That’s good news if he ends up going to Pearson. Also, it has nothing to do with the school recommending Jude… he has to meet the military’s criteria to be accepted: attendance, good marks, work completed, etc. So, we’ll see. Jude’s Vice Principal wants to meet with Jude and me on Friday to discuss Jude’s options. I imagine there are fewer and fewer options now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he tells Jude that he’s not welcomed back next year. I wouldn’t blame him.
