It started to rain hard so I walkie-talkied Kevin and asked him to pick Clara and me up from school. When we got in the SUV, Kevin said 'we have 300 fish in the big pond!'. We're getting there. Clara asked if she could borrow our umbrella to walk from our house to hers. We told her we would drive her directly to her house, which is about a 2-minute drive up a very steep hill, but a 20-minute walk. She appeared so surprised that we would drive her all the way. She smiled the biggest smile and hugged me. Her sincere gratitude is so humbling.
