We received a phone call just after lunch and it was ICE (pronounced ee-say for those of you have not been paying attention). The man on the other end of the line only spoke Spanish, but when he asked for directions, I was able to tell him in Spanish that we live a half kilometre away from Rio Blanco school. And I understood that they would be at our place within a half hour. And true to their word, they arrived a half hour later. I'm writing this entry as we're waiting for them to let us know what happens next. The whole point is to replace the phone line, but so far, it doesn't look like that's their agenda today. We'll see....
