Introductions

We met the Tico family who works on the farm: Martin (the husband), Clara (the wife) and Nacho again (the 24-year-old son). They have 4 children in total, which we're told we will meet their two daughters in the next few days. Nacho played translator for us as his parents don't speak English. We agreed we would meet again on Monday to walk around the property and list all the things that need to be done. Then, we left at 10 am to drive down to San Marcos, where we met our 28-year-old lawyer, Diego. We signed all the legal documents, and Kevin called our Canadian bank to have the money wired to the seller. Everything went according to plan. What a relief! We learned that the gentleman that we need to talk to at the Cooperative, Juan, was not in today so we need to go back tomorrow to meet him in person. He speaks English so he will help us open a bank account. Apparently he's a very influential man, so it's good to know him and have him on our side.
