This is the perspective from the river. Our house sits on a huge rock, but there's still some concern with the river during the rainy season. We've experienced the wildness of the river and when it hits the side for the bank, it erodes the dirt away. So, Kevin, Martin and Primo (another neighbour, little Kevin's father) built a wall to prevent any damage the water might create.
Kevin spent 5 hours gathering rocks and stones. Back-breaking work... again!
Some of these rocks are huge and weigh a ton. Primo is as strong as an ox though. He's worth every penny we pay him.
