More website updates!

So, remember how we won a free Website Diagnostics session and met with Demi of Strategical Coaching last week? Well, we took Demi's advice to heart and implemented most, if not all, her suggestions. There weren't too many, but we think they were valid. The hope is we'll increase traffic to our site, as well as readership of my blog.

We added an 'Our Story' tab, telling people who visit our site, but may not be reading my blog, a little about who we are and how we got here. Under the 'Your Stay With Us' tab, under Meals, we added our food philosophy and a colourful menu with some pictures so our potential guests can see what's on offer during their stay. We made some changes to the tabs to help with navigation (well, we hope it helps). On our Home page, you'll notice an Opt-In Box where you can subscribe to our monthly postcard. Kevin and I had to figure out how to use MailChimp and after several bouts of frustration, we can now add the process to our list of skills. We'll be to offering monthly specials, but only to those who subscribe. We're hoping this will serve to build our community. You'll notice that we've added the very same Opt-in Box option on this Blog page (down below and the right-hand side). Feel free to sign up! And tell all your friends, too, please!
