![]() We know there are armadillos on our property and we suspect these little critters are digging holes in our garden at night. This morning, as I was walking up the pathway to the hatchery to meet up with Kevin, I saw something scurry in the tall grass. It wasn't very big, but certainly bigger than a mouse or rat. I saw it's tail... I'm sure it was an armadillo. ![]() To be fair, the tail is all I actually saw... it moved too fast for me to see its entire body, but its tail looked just like this one right here. I followed it to see if I could sneak up on it to get a better look, but it was gone, in the big hole under a big rock. I'll keep my eyes peeled from now on.
