I'm not sure what I did, maybe lifted a heavy box the wrong way during the unpacking process, but it appears I've strained my lower back. Although I did make it to school today and wrote paragraphs in Spanish (well it's true that I'm writing paragraphs, but let's not get carried away, the sentence structure remains still very, VERY simplistic... but one has to start somewhere). After school, I came home and felt too sore to do much of anything. I decided to be kind to myself and just took it easy. Kevin and Nacho were working on levelling the guest house floor as it was slanting a bit. They did a really good job and we feel much better about having guests stay there now. Safety first... then comfort, of course. So while the men were working hard, I sat in the house catching up on some reading. I read two books. I haven't done that in years! Then I took a hot bath, in hopes of relaxing the tight muscles that were causing me so much pain. It's so irritating, but I'm very grateful I'm in a position where resting and not 'having' to do anything this minute is available to me. I really don't need to stress about it. I really don't.
