It was time to clean out
the hen house and give our Bettys nice, clean digs. I removed all the
old, dirty wood chips, scrubbed the walls and floors down and washed their water apparatus and food container.
Then, when I was done,
I attacked the outside.
It was really grungy.
Once everything was clean, I added a coat of bright green paint on all the trim to freshen it up. Then, I decided to give the old wood door a punch of colour by painting it red.
It's amazing how a little elbow grease and a touch of paint can result in such a nice transformation.
