We are right on the verge of the rainy season... we haven't had any rain since January (or certainly nothing worth mentioning), so we very much look forward to having everything green again. The fireflies have shown up... and that's the first sign. And every afternoon, for the past week or so, the dark clouds have been teasing us... hovering above the mountain peaks. Not a drop... until four nights ago when it rained for about an hour. It wasn't much, but better than nothing. Then, two nights ago, it came... a downpour that lasted several hours. We could nearly hear the grass, trees, plants and flowers say "aaaaahhhhh". Although it's been a fabulously beautiful 'summer' for us and our guests, everything has its season and we welcome the change!
