On Sunday, Kevin and I got up at 4:45 am and met our friends (Seidy, her husband Danilo, her sister-in-law Lorena and two of her kids) in La Trinidad, our meeting point, at 6:15 am. We drove down to San Isidro de General, then continued another half hour near the base of mount Chirripo (the highest peak in Costa Rica). Just when we think we've seen all the beauty there is to see, we're smacked in the face with even more. My photography skills comes nowhere near to doing it justice. We met up with Lorena's aunt who was kind enough to serve everyone breakfast, then we all piled into our vehicles and drove to a tiny little market (10 stalls) that was in a small restaurant. It was a great social gathering place, with several English-speaking expats. We met a woman, Jenny, who runs a learning center as well so we talked for a long while. We've invited her to come visit Copey, Rio Blanco and of course, Hush Valley Lodge. It was truly a great day!
