Oh, I don't know... because I've got nothing else to do :) I've been researching how to make natural soap the old fashion way. What an education! The things we take for granted. Even the process of making lye is interesting... dangerous, but interesting nonetheless. It always amazes me how people stumbled upon these combinations to make such discoveries. So fascinating. We have so many lovely botanical ingredients right outside our door: aloe vera, rosemary, strawberries, lemons, limes, avocado, sage, calendula. And other things that are close at hand: plantain, pure honey, oats, coconut and so forth. I'm thinking of all kinds of combinations that would be so wonderful. We even have lots of bamboo trees, which I can burn and use the ash. I have more investigating to do, but my interest is definitely piqued! I'll keep everyone posted. If anyone out there has ever made soap without lye... and you liked the result, please contact me... I can use all the help I can get! Thanks :)
