Snake in the lake

So, I was walking back from the chicken coop to the house earlier this morning and in the canal, between the walkway and the island, where the garden is located, I saw a green snake! I took a double take... its head was moving back and forth. I ran to get my camera. What a post this would make! When I got back, upon a closer look, I realized it was just vegetation masquerading as a snake. I won't lie, I was mostly relieved :)

P.S. snake sightings are extremely rare up here. I should have known better, but look at it, doesn't it look like a snake?
