I joined a yoga class... it's been on my agenda for quite some time, but the classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, which is when I used to teach my English class. And since leaving the Learning Centre, I've had time, but the instructor was away for an extended visit to the States. So, finally, she's back and I'm ready. Although the instructor, Jodi, is English-speaking and is originally from the States, she's been living in Costa Rica for the last six years, so her yoga class is taught in Spanish. This is actually great! Jodi did offer to translate, but I declined. I figure I can learn the parts of the body while getting a great workout. She speaks in a slow-tempo manner, so it's a lot easier for me to catch on... and since there's so much repetition, my ear is getting great practice. Although, I won't lie, I did open my eyes a few times to make sure I was following the next steps properly. I didn't do too badly. As for how my body feels after doing the yoga... it feels so good. I look forward to doing it again... on a more regular basis.
