![]() Thomas and his mum, Cindy I was up and out the door at 7 am. I offered to help with the tamales, which we'll be serving on Sunday at the fundraising Fun Day. We had an assembly line all set up to help make them more quickly. Even Thomas gave us a hand. Bless him. I don't know how many we put together, but it was over 200. It took all morning. ![]() Clara Once the tamales were filled, wrapped and folded, Clara tied them together... ready to cook! Tamales is a lot of work, but it's only one part of all the work that needs to get done... ![]() While the women were busy making tamales, the men were building the tent frame where there food will be served. It's a small community with lots to do, so everyone has to pitch in.
