Well, my book is supposed to be about the exciting bits of our adventure. Ironically, the days when I sit down all day to write don't actually provide much fodder for interesting blog entries. I've managed to do a little laundry, whoohoo... I don't think that counts as particularly exciting. I did read the first two pages of my book to Kevin and we had an interesting chat about what he thought. He thinks I should skip all the self-reflective stuff and just get straight to the fun, adventurous parts of our journey. My goal is to fill in the gaps and explain how I got from there to here. 'There' being before the adventure began. We had a lively debate... I guess we'll see what others think. It's good to have a different perspective so I don't go down a self-absorbed ego trip. It's easy to do when you're writing your own story. I rewrote the introduction twice... it's time to move on or I'll never get it done. I'll revisit it again later... maybe.
