I don't often write about missing my two children. My blog entries are all about what's happening here. It's fair to say I miss my kids every single day. And today for no particular reason, I'm really missing them... it happens. We're in contact nearly every day though. Our choice of connection is usually chatting on Facebook, through private messaging and occasionally Skype. Sometimes, both Jude and Phoenix are on Facebook and I'm 'talking' to them at the same time. It certainly doesn't replace seeing each other in the flesh; however, we all make a special effort to stay in touch... sometimes it's just a quick 'hello'... but more often than not, we have long conversations. It feels like I know more about what's going on in their lives than when we all lived under the same roof. It's strange how that happens. If it weren't for the internet and all the viable options to stay connected, I'm not sure I'd be able to be so far away. I feel really lucky and grateful.
