![]() I worked in the garden most of the day, today. I divided the leeks so they have more room to grow. I dug up some of our potato plants to see if they were ready. Some are a nice size and others are quite tiny. I've left the other plants alone to allow more time to grow. It's a fine balance between ready to eat and too old. ![]() Nice potatoes to eat with our next meal. Completely organic, too! Often times, potatoes are sprayed with all kinds of anti-fungal chemicals. But not ours... YUM! ![]() Our peas our looking good, too. They're growing vertically, lots of white flowers are blooming, so we anticipate a lot more pods to grow. ![]() I just love the miracle of it all... I plant this tiny little seed and that seed, with the right amount of sun and water, becomes delicious food. It fascinates me to no end. I was not a gardener back home, so this is all new to me, and still novel, I guess.
