![]() For the last month or so, every time we drive down to San Marcos, we pass by this unusual tree. It's very large, with very few leaves; however, it is full of purple-blue flowers. It's a stunning tree and I wish we had one on our property. Maybe it's best we don't, as I would probably end up spending a great deal of time gazing at it and getting little to nothing done on the farm. Today, I brought my camera, even though I knew I would not be able to capture the vividness of the bloom. Here it is anyway... I really do need a zoom lens, I'm realizing more and more with every picture I take. ![]() ![]()
