What to bring for your mountain visit:

The mountains offer a very different climate from the lowlands. The daytime temperatures average 25°C with lots of sun and the nighttime temperatures average 10°C. It's great sleeping weather, but please come prepared. Although you'll most likely want to bring shorts and t-shirts, we also recommend bringing a fleece or light jacket, long pants and long-sleeved shirts. Even in the dry season, it's bound to rain at some point, so bring rain gear as well. In the rainy season, bring clothes that dry quickly (some fabrics, once they're wet, stay wet a very long time). We also recommend good hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes if you plan to walk or hike anywhere. The grass is often wet with dew in the mornings.

We provide:
A breakfast basket
Bath, hand and face towels
Sheets, duvets and blankets
Toilet paper
Facial tissue

Wood, paper, matches for the wood stove
Flashlights and candles
A variety of books to borrow

What to bring:
Groceries for the length of your stay- the nearest food store is 15 minutes from Hush Valley, by vehicle.
Binoculars for wildlife viewing
